My family wants to buy our son his bedding since we are buying his crib ourselves. We also decided to buy the stroller carseat set ourselves also so they are going to buy other stuff we want. I am putting off buying anything else till my baby shower so I can buy what wasnt all ready bought with our saved up money.

yea we want two car seats so I was going to buy that and a pack n play since need one for babysitter and granma. I'll have to buy bedding buy still like is $170 worth it?

I reused my first sons bedding but I've decided that when it comes time to pick a bedding for this baby, I'm going to buy a plain color sheet, and then buy the fabric and make the blanket(no more than $10) And it will literally save so much money. I didn't use bumper pads on the crib this time either, at Ross I found the breathable nets that go around the sides for $4.99(white) and honestly the bed skirt is a waist of money, its just to make it look nice.

and its so expensive, only because they know people want the very best stuff for their baby.

We got ours on sale for $40. But in reality, all you need is a few crib sheets and a bedskirt. We never use the blanket that came with it.
