Finally got admitted! I'm only 4 cm dialated. When should I get the epidural? I'm hurting 😢

@twinmamma2015, must be. I had my daughter almost a month ago and I asked when I was at 8 and they said no, even to iv pain meds.

@kerragannicole, I wonder if every hospital is different because I wanna say my hospital said I could get it anytime fight up to 9. But I could be wrong, it had been 6 months since I've had my boys and probably 9 months since we talked about it in my birthing class lol!!!

if you ask for it now it will take them a few minutes to get it all set up. the anesthesiologist will come, you will have to sign some forms, so if you ask now it'll be a lil bit before you get it and it starts to work

Whenever. If I remember right you have until your 8cm dilated to get it. After 8cm, they won't allow it
