so I'm home with my newborn son. he's 3 days old. he's a very good baby, just wana know cause he can litterly sleep all night. is that OK or should I wake him every 3 hours to feed... Or let him sleep till he gets hungry
Mines 5 months old now. Docs told me wake her every 2-4 hours to eat. I always felt bad and just let her sleep until she was hungry. She doubled her weight in the first 3 months. Just do what you feel is best :) Everyone goes about it differently and everyone's child is different
Let that baby sleep Lol. Just like us when we are hungry and wake up he too will do the same. Never wake a sleeping baby. They know for sure what they want we don't. We have to listen and follow their ques 🙂. If he sleeps for long just know when he wakes everything should already be prepped and ready to go Lol.
let him sleep he will wake up for food. my baby was just like that i was worried too especially at night she slept through the night from 8pm to 8am she is still like that!
my boys both slept through the night.... the doc yelled at me for letting them. they need to eat every few hours... at least for the first few months.... they didn't gain as much weight as the doc wanted them to so I was instructed to wake them up anyway. make them eat
My 1st son would sleep almost all night and i would get scared intil the doctor told me to leave him alone if he is hungry he will wake up and pretty much i would be up every three hrs pumping my milk because he wouldnt get up..even with my 2nd pregnancy my princess did the same thing they sleeped the whole night from day one
He'll wake when he's hungry, BUT I wouldn't let him sleep TOO long. Ajani sleeps very well too. I get him up every 4 hours if he doesn't stir on his own.
@babie_2016, leave him to sleep. When he's hungry he would wake. Ethan would sleep hours on end a few days old and wanted to wake him while at hospital and nurses told me don't and I listened. Do it to this day and he's 9 weeks.
