I'm high risk for preterm labor and they said in my case 37 weeks is full term.

The term "full term" would be considered the 40weeks of gestation. At 37-38 weeks your child's lungs are fully developed so they can breathe on their own. Anything before that and they would end up in the NICU because their lungs are not ready yet. This is information from my brother who's a nurse and he just did his rotation in the maternity ward.

My corpsman husband said 37-38 is considered term

Technically, full term is 40 weeks. You want baby in there as long as possible.

They changed it to 38 weeks I think. I know back in 2006 when I had my son full term was 36 weeks
