I know I'm late, but no, theives and on guard are very bad for babies. Clove oil can cause serious respiratory issues and make it very hard for them to breathe and possibly stop breathing completely. no oils before 6 months, period. and after 6 months the only oils safe are lavender, fir needle, and frankincense but only diffused or in a 1% dilution.

You really shouldn't use any EOs on or around children under 2 years old.

I diffuse it around the girls I nanny and know dozens of people who do the same. I would be cautious to putting it on them without a carrier oil.

Do your research. It's all a matter of what you feel is safest for your kids. Some oils are safer than others.
