I was told I could lift as much as I felt I could without hurting myself or the baby, but I'm also very used to carrying gear that weighs about 80-90 pounds (I'm in the Army btw)

I was put on a 20lb weight restriction when I saw my doctor. I don't have any health problems either. So I would ask your doctor.

I have a normal pregnancy and my doctor said nothing over 50 but I could lift up to that as long as I lift properly

I was told from the beginning not to lift anything heavier then 20-25 pounds

If it hurts to pick up, I won't do it regardless of weight.

The beginning is probably the worst time to lift heavy stuff because the risk of miscarriage is higher!

I am high risk and told either 10lbs or don't lift if I have to strain/feel pulling
