at what age can you put a baby front facing in the car ?

you need to look at your state laws but really rear facing is best for as long as possible...I plan to go at the very least a few years. my car seat that I have does rear facing up to 40 pounds.

1 year and 20 pounds but the recommend they stay rear facing until they are 2 years old
