So my husband drank a six pack last night and started a fight with me because I didn't want to shut my little ones door while he was sleeping. He had been sick and I wanted to be able to hear him. My husband was like you need to break him of that! I was in an abusive relationship with my kids dad for five years. So my kids have separation anxiety if I'm not there. They just got new beds and I'm working on getting them to sleep alone. So my husband went crazy yelling at me in front of my other Son about it. We only been married 5 months. With all my kids have been through I want to take it easy on them. My husband yelled called me an Ass and said he is divorcing me! That I'm a bad wife and mom. I was crying a lot . My poor Son who is turning five brings me a Teddy Bear and says Here Mommy will this Teddy Bear make you stop Crying.😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 Fml! I feel so awful my kids went through all before and now. I feel like the worst mom ever!!

Wow he's an asshole. I'm sorry that's so wrong of him. I hope ou can confidently tell him to talk to you better. Your a great mom for trying to make a smooth transition for your kids.

You are so NOT a bad mom! You are being a good mom by doing what your kids need. If they feel safer when they sleep with the door open, then let it be open. My daughter sleeps with hers open, too. It's nothing that you need to change. He is being a jerk. You should talk to him when he's sober and try not to engage in conversation with him when he's drunk and yelling at you. Stay strong mama!

I have to lay down with them at night to fall asleep. My husband works night so by the time they are asleep enough for me to leave the room he has to leave for work at ten. So I don't get to sleep with him much. I told him everything before we started dating. He had a whole year to think about it all before we even dated! I told him it would take time. But he still thinks I'm bad mom and wife @mommastone @mspeece @sarahb518 I'm so upset he doesn't understand.

@mspeece, thank you. He's been doing this almost right after we got married. After last night when he said he's Divorcing me I feel so insecure and I don't trust him anymore to not hurt me or my kids emotionally. I think it's BS. He should be happy I put my kids first especially since we're having a baby. I feel like he's so selfish. How can you know ahead of time the situation , marry a woman with two little kids get wife pregnant then just throw them to the curb while I'm pregnant !

He hid how much he actually drank until after we got married. He was drinking 8 to 10 every night. He still drinks every night but it was down to two Then on weekends it's more

Girl don't put up with that. My aunts husband does the same and lately it has gotten physical. I know you want to save your marriage but you need to protect your children from that. As a child of abuse, I promise you they will never forget things like that. You're great momma and don't let anyone tell you differently!
