I use the shield too and my son does the exact same thing, I love it!

Oh hmm interesting! Did you wear the shield when you were pumping?

Just the shield and pumping pulled my nipples out and my consultant said they shouldn't be the reason she's not latching lol.

At birth my baby's mouth was really small. She also had an upper lip tie that didn't get diagnosed and fixed till this past wed. I also had flat nipples but pumping and using th shield had corrected it. Now we're working on getting her off the bottle 100% and back onto my breast by using the shield. Since her lip tie has been fixed she has fully latched a couple times. She's just stubborn because she's had breast milk from a bottle for the past month

@alusardi, why do you need it? Doctors said I had flat nipples 😒

I have to use the shield to. Working on not needing it anymore though ! Good luck !
