I want to be able to breastfeed when the babies here but I want to occasionally drink and I don't know how that whole thing goes lol like can I give him formula just until like a day after and start breastfeeding again or what?

Safe to drive safe to feed :) if you have more than a couple you have to wait until you feel good enough to drive and you can feed again. You can pump before hand so baby has something to eat if you're away/not fit to feed. So in short--a drink or two is just fine :)

My OB recommended pumping before hand so you have a supply and if you have more than two drinks to pump and dump for 24 hours.

Definitely don't pump and dump. Alcohol leaves your milk like it leaves your bloodstream so pumping and dumping will not remove alcohol from your milk. If you're inebriated and uncomfortable because you're engorged is the only time you should ever pump and dump and again, only until you feel that you are fit to drive. @deans.mommy

IF YOURE SOBER ENOUGH TO DRIVE YOURE SOBER ENOUGH TO NURSE.. This is something to keep in mind, now if you're looking to get drunk or something pump ahead of time 😊 also if you are not sober enough to nurse pump that milk and save it, you can use it for a milk bath or something of that nature 😁
