How many mommas let their babies sleep in a rock n play? I know you're not supposed to, but my newborn refuses to sleep if she's laying flat!
my cousins baby slept in his for the first 4 months and his head is almost completely flat. I wouldn't suggest it
@bella91, My first only slept in her swing too... but all the recommendations are constantly changing! I'm always worried I am doing something wrong!
Tummy time does not prevent a flat head by the way. My son has torticollis which caused a flat spot, regardless of how much tummy time he did when he was awake. He now has a helmet and it's not because of a rock and play. It's because you're told to place your baby on their backs for sleep and if a baby can't turn their head one way due to a muscle issue (even with force by parents) then a flat spot is inevitable.
I was warned that the transition from a rock and play to a crib was AWFUL so I stayed far far away.
Oh i see.. @firefly @mommy.of.2. I'm going to have to deffinetely look that information up. Thanks!
@floress_j, I'm not really sure. I've heard increased risk of SIDS.
@floress_j it causes flat head and can result in your baby wearing a helmet
I did for about 3 months just make sure you do tons of tummy time

Babygirl knocked out sleep
Co sleeping...yay or nay? Lately Molly hasn't want to sleep in her crib and sleep with us. Which is fine but we do want her to sleep in her crib
my son slept in his swing until he was four months old, h had reflux so the incline helped and the movement knocked him out.
