I just got on WIC . The lady up front didn't really explain it good enough for me plus my one month old was screaming her head off.. Can someone explain to me what I do when I get up to the cashier? Please and thank you!
And make sure your name or the person purchasing name is on the check. Idk about anywhere else but here in ks we have to show our ids.
coming from a grocery store manager who deals with this everyday.
1. Make sure all of your items are correct before entering the line. (we would much rather help you find the items before you get in line so other customers don't get mad)
2. if you have more than a few checks let the cashier know how many you have so we can shut our light off 'we don't like getting dirty looks or cussed out by the people behind you)
3. sort your items by check and if time allows the order they are in! (allows new checkers to get it done much faster)
If you don't want something on the 4.check let us know because it's confusing if you didn't get an item! (once we put it through we can't redo it to add the item)
5. be patient with the cashier, messing wic up is an automatic write up in almost all stores so we have to take our time!
here all you have to do when u get to the register is first let then know it is WIC before they ring anything up and let the cashier watch u sign the check and hand it to them and they check you out accordingly to the checks.
separate your items according to each voucher and check to make sure they are the correct weight and size. make sure you have everything you want off of it because you won't get it back. inform the cashier beforehand that you have a wic order. depending on how many vouchers you have, you'll have different orders (so if you are using 4 vouchers you'll have 4 orders). you'll sign the voucher, give it to her, and she'll take care of the rest!
You basically separate your food according to each voucher. For example if one voucher just has milk & juice on there you have to separate it from the other items. You can't just put all your items on the counter and hand them all the vouchers at once. You have to do it one by one. You sign each one before you had it to them. That's basically it.
You just hand them your folder I usually have my stuff separated by check so it's easier for them to go through it I hand it to them with te checks sticking out they basically scan everything and send the check through a machine thingy and put the balance it would've been and they have you sign it right there just make sure jnot to sign it before u get up there
Hey I’m 26 with two children #myfirstpost
Okay I’ll be real and explained why I joined, I didn’t know I could be looked up or anyone would actually see this post, I was informed someone I know has been stealing pics and I came to look and see what’s going on if any of mine were on there or anyone else I knew. I just typed until it let me post since it was required before I could look around on the app.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
How do women willingly TRY to dry up their milk...someone please explain this to me! 😠😩
North Korea-unbiased explanation
Is anyone following what's going on between the USA and NK? I can't seem to find an unbiased neutral article explaining what's happening. Can someone help me out?
TWW!!

I separate all my things in order with the vouchers its a lot helpful for the cashier's & just let them do what they do & theyll have you sign voucher one by one make sure all your items are Wic approved..
