You can continue, around the 2nd trimester you will find that you milk changes a bit and will take a dive in supply because you will be starting to produce colostrum again for the new baby, so your older one may self wean because it will taste funny to them...but many moms contiue on to tandem nurse both their older child and the new baby! It's worth a try but don't be disappointed if it doesn't work out and your older child spontaneously weans...
