Has anyone taken castor oil and it work? I don't want all the negative answers I've researched all risks and if taken right it can be okay. Most of my family has taken it and it worked and they had no issues what so ever. Just want more opinions.

it worked twice with my mom and twice with my sister! they took it with orange juice lol and went into labor by the next day
@harperkatesmommy, if you read my last comment I have been in prodromal labor for the past month. That's the only reason I wanna try it. I've been having contractions every day 5 mins apart with pain for a month and still nothing. If you do research and ask doctors everyone has different opinions but there has been studies on it too.
@mommy2008, Okay because I've been in prodromal labor for a month so I will only take 2 tablespoons not a drop more. I've read and researched if you take the right amount everything should be fine.
No issues. I took 3-4 spoonfuls altogether with a gulp of Coke cola in between. My baby was healthy and no issues or diarrhea!
I did with my 1st baby. It put me in labor 5 mins after taking it, everyone is different
It's best to wait for baby to come on its on, or try natural ways like sex, walking, etc. If walking, and sex don't induce labor then chances are baby isn't ready to come yet.
I had two of my friends that tried it, all it did was give them terrible diarrhea!
