my mil, hubby, and brother in law were all talking about golf (I've never been before but my hubby is trying to get me into it). I said I won't be able to go golfing for a few years. my mil was all why? you aren't gonna be pregnant for a few more years. I said no but I have a baby I'll need to take care of. she's all, that's why there is babysitting. and started naming off all these people who would wanna babysit. I'm all ummm I'm gonna be glued to the baby. she's all, that's not good for you or the baby or your marriage..... k... is that true??? but it's okay for my husband to be glued to his family and the only person I want to be glued to is my baby, why is that so wrong??

There is nothing wrong with that. Build the bond and it'll be there forever. Don't let anybody tell you otherwise! 🙂

@mommyofqueens, that's what I thought.. I get crap cuz my family isn't as close as my in laws are but when I want to start with my baby it's the most wrong thing to do..... wtf????

I'm always with my kids. My marriage is VERY HEALTHY, we're happy, and the kids are too. Bond with your baby, that's what moms do!

Yes do what you want to do its your child. Your marriage will be fine, a baby doesn't ruin it a baby makes it stronger!

Nothing wrong with loving your baby. Though it is good to get out and definitely good for your baby to socialize with other babies. My son was always with me and so he was really super shy and it was hard to get him out of it. But she's full of crap :)

Totally understandable. the only person I will trust watching my baby is my mother honestly.
