When ever you want to. I took a bath the night I gave birth to my son. (:

I guess every hospital is different. My nurse told me at least a couple times a day to help with swollen and stuff. That hot bath after was amazing lol

Total okay to now! The hot bath will also help with any swelling or discomfort. just try not to use anything scented because it can irritate it, did your hospital give you a sitz bath? sitting in the tun is almost the same thing except it's your whole body lol

hmmm... they usually do, it's like this bowl thing you put hot water in, put it on the toilet and sit on it, it was a life saver for me lol the hot water definitely makes the downstairs feel so much better

@katnichole17, my hospital told me the same thing I had my baby 3 weeks ago too and I love baths so finally I googled it and it said just fine! I'm kind of curious the reasoning of not wanting us too?

Someone told me it's to be sure the stitches don't get infected from sitting in the same water for a period of time. Which makes some sense but I swear going to the bathroom hurt more than taking a bath @britany

@katnichole17, it definitely does I would lean my body so far forward when peeing so it wouldn't drip on them!( sorry tmi) lol but mine are finally out so no more worries there!

Mine dissolved and I one day I lightly wiped and they were on the tp. So no pain there and that happened about two weeks pp so if they were dissolvable they might be gone. My nurse said to help them dissolve faster I could sit in like 6 in of warm water for five min so if you've been taking baths that would have helped I believe. @katnichole17
