So I have a curious question, has anyone else during a third trimester ultrasound had their baby measure 3 weeks ahead of what they should be? If so, what did the doctors do?

yes i went through this at 26 weeks. have you taken your glucose test yet? at 26 weeks i was measuring 4 weeks ahead. still am now. but i have nearly 3times the amount of amniotic fluid normal. which could be random but has been severly affected by gestational diabieties that i tested positve for at 28 weeks. but baby is very big because of this. but unless there are other health concerns they will not likely do anythjng about a big baby. also, the first ultrasounds are the most acurate for determining age of gestation so he is probably just growing quickly. the reason may be determined later or he may just be a big boy
Was ur belly measuring big or did u have an ultrasound? At 36 weeks I measured at 39 so they gave me an ultrasound at 37 weeks so see how big he was but he measured only a couple days a head. They think it's just from my placenta being in front lol
Xari is measuring at 30 weeks and I'm only in my 27th week.
@babylove1209, I am doing my glucose test in the morning. My side of the family all had big babies too, but I was hoping that he would take after his daddy in that cuz he was only 6.5 lbs when he was born. Lol guess not. I have a dr appointment next week so I will definitely be asking these questions.
