So my 9month old, 10m next week, keeps biting. I don't want to hit his mouth, and I know he doesn't understand No, no matter how much I say it. and thinks its funny. It hurts so much when he bites. what should I do?

I bit my daughter back, not hard or anything and it made her cry and I told her it hurts . Took a few times and she stopped
Redirect. Your 10 month old will not understand why it's okay for mommy to bite but not him. Why can mommy hit and spank but I can't? He's not old enough to grasp that yet. It's a way to get attention. Redirect his attention to something he CAN do and talk to him on his level by explaining that 'it hurts when you bite mommy and it's not nice and it hurts my feelings. When you want mommys attention, please use your words *say this* or *do this* instead but we don't bite because it's not nice and hurts my feelings

we hold my daughter's mouth closed gently until she gets mad EVERY time she bites! she's 9.5 months and it's working! she rarely bites anymore
my son bites my toes when I'm sitting on the couch, it hurts! he did it to my arm a couple times. I don't know how to stop it and I don't want to yell, like you said, a 10 month old has no clue what stop means lol
yes ma'am he would my mom sis it to my little brother & my bfs mom did it to him when he was just about Sammy's age maybe a little older
@nichole_lynn, it feels like being stabbed with a needle or something. he always does it on my shoulder and once on my face
my 10 month old does it too! he has three teeth and it hurts!! 😭

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Our not so little boy arrived at 9:45pm on the 27 of March! The day before his due date! 8lb 12oz.. I used gas and air thru the contractions whilst i was in the pool then demanded I wanted an epidural..they finally got me to the delivery place where i could have one and by the time they were ready to give it to me his head was pretty much out so I push him into this world with no pain relief as I'd given up on the gas and air by then! I was biting a towel whilst pushing him out! And considering ...
So I really dislike my mil so much that when I go into labor I'm gonna hide hubbys phone so he can't call her lol idc I'm petty !
