so nervous about getting a spinal block. I had the epidural with my first and that turned into an emergency c section. I was just reading about the spinal block and now I'm freaking out!
@emily18234, That's true! I'm just more nervous about the pain of the needle I guess lol even tho I have had a shot in my back before!
Google is not your friend during pregnancy. I have a scheduled csections because 2 doctors highly recommended I not even try the vbac. 2 weeks ago my daughter was breech. I tried googling if it was cause for concern since I was having a c-section anyway. all I could find was a bunch of negative articles about the evils of csections.
In about 9 days before I get Induced on July 3. Doctor said instead of epidural they are going to do a spinal block instead....Forgot to ask doctor why? I know what an epidural is cause i had that done with my 1st child ....But spinal block I've never heard of it....Any info you ladies know about it id appreciate it. I don't see doc again till next thurs. Which will be 3 days before im induced then. Also with being induced do you still feel the contractions with a spinal block?
Lolol I seriously love being blocked over what.... oh a comment about soda 😂😂😂😂😂
Does anyone know if they can delay cord clamping if you’re having a scheduled c-section?? I will have to be put to sleep due to not being able to have an epidural or spinal block and I was wondering if that was still possible? 🙈🙈

Well I was about to go to bed...and then I get stung by this thing.
My surgery was scary but ended up going good and my boys are still active and strong! Staying a week in the hospital. At least the hard part is done and we can feel better about the rest of our journey! On a side note- if i wasnt sure before that i dont want ANY epideral or spinal block during labor i am POSITIVE now. Spinal was the worst experience of my life!!!
they numb the area though and it's jot like an epidural where they insert a catheter. it's just a needle
