okay... has anyone ever tested positive on there group b strep test??
I tested positive with both my pregnancies. I went into labor on my own. one was 6 days late and one was 8 days early! I got antibiotics both times. I had to stay with my 2nd for 72 hours because she came too fast to get both doses before. It not too big of a deal! mybdoc said it was just a little extra bacteria than normal.
Hope this helps you.
I went into labor the day before my due date, but had her on her due date, and no not really! My water didn't break on its own, I was only having contractions, so I wasn't super in a rush or freaking out. Plus, I was in labor for 17 hours, so I did have plenty of time, but I didn't necessarily just take my time getting to the hospital either if that makes sense.
@their.bomb.ass.mom, did you go into labor before your due date? were they worried about baby comming before they could finish antibiotics?
I sort of got induced (its a weird story)
I went in to get induced that morning (only because it was a few days before Thanksgiving and they wanted to get me in and out of there lol) and they got me started on the Pitocin to start up my contractions and while I was getting my epidural, my water broke on its own.
So, yes and no lol. Technically I wasn't induced because they didn't break my water, it broke on it's own.
They didn't "induce" me because of the group b strep, it was just so close to the holidays.
You probably won't be induced unless something else comes up or you end up going passed your due date.
No worries, ladies ❤❤
me, with my first baby I was positive. and to answer your question above I went into labor all on my own. The only difference is they give you an IV of antibiotics during vaginal birth so the bacteria isn't passed to baby. @redheadmommyof2 @bkrettler11497
I was showing signs of infection so I went in and got a bunch of tests done ..I tested positive and I'm trying to figure out what to expect too ..I'm only 17 weeks and having (Braxton hicks ) at least I think they are ...I'm worried since this is my first pregnancy ...@redheadmommyof2, @caylesmommy12
I did with my first pregnancy.
It's no big deal, really.
You just have to be on antibiotics during labor and they monitor you for an extra day in the hospital after you give birth.
TWW!!
2dpo and on the tww journey. Anyone on the same dpo or close? Haven't decided if I will test at 12dpo or just wait and see if she shows up!!
AF due 29th, anyone else?
Hi all AF is due 29th Sept for me feels like forever away. Has anyone tested yet or when do you plan on testing x

Sometimes you know your body better than everyone else. Not every woman will produce high levels of hcg throughout pregnancy some it can take weeks some it can take months don’t trust a blood test don’t trust a urine test trust your heart and when you know it’s times it’s time this doctor was not a gynecologist so he did not give me a quantitative blood test to actually see what my hcg level is at I hope this helps some of you ladies who just feel like giving up and stop testing because of what ...
