Gave my son his first bath at 10 days old (by great grandma)

Not the actually bath im talkin about when they wash the baby after birth to wash off the vernix

I'm delaying it and rubbing the vernix into her skin:) then when I get go me I'll give her her first bath, to me they're born with it for a reason

You're just supposed to wait until their umbilical cord falls off unless you do a wash cloth bath. I waited until my daughters umbilical cord fell off

I did it the first night we came home.well my mom help me out 😇
