I had my regular appointment today with my obgyn. babies still doing great :)
I'm 20 weeks and 4 days. I'm measuring 30weeks pregnant. If there's no complications I will mostlikely be induced June 17th or June 20th. she told me twins come between 34-36 weeks. so it won't be long before their here and we have done nothing yet. I'm waiting on my mom to let me come over to get my baby stuff that I've been storing there. and waiting on my husband to get a move on shit. I guess I just need to go out and start buying stuff :)
at June 27th that's 3 months and 2 weeks away. my mom says I have enough time. sell I'm full of energy now. I'm not gonna have it much longer. I like to go through my stuff and organized my stuff now, and not at last minute when I'm exhausted or on bedrest.

I say start doing stuff yourself, my husband was super busy with work so I got the stuff out of the attic and cleaned (washed what I could and febreezed the rest or used disinfecting wipes) it and set it all up: bassinet, pack and play, changing pad, swing, I also went and bought a way to store her clothes.... I had our room all set up myself... it ended up out daughter didn't like the bassinet or being in our room but still I took it upon myself lol @shannaa24

@silverthorn12, I thought they were supposed to pull them out earlier. my first born, he's 4 now. I didn't have him till 43 weeks.

@sarahdrew, most of the stuff I can do. everything with the clothes and setting the room up is fine. I did the same with my son. shoot, I still do everything around here lol. but there's tables wraped up and huge boxes that need to be put in storage. that's the main things that are in my way. way too big and way to heavy to be moving. all my sons baby clothes are stored at my moms house. just waiting on her to let me come get them. I would like to go through them and figure out what I want to keep and what things I need to buy. I definitely have to buy another crib. I perfer to just buy it at the store this time instead of having it dealivered. I'm in an apartment do everything gets delivered at the office. I can't carry that. there's not too much I need. just need a day or two to get out and start buying. my husband works decent hours same as mine. and off on the weekends. he's just been putting it off thinking it's not time yet. he's now telling me we'll get out and take care of stuff.

@shannaa24, it depends on what kind of twins you're having. If they're fraternal then you can go full term just fine. Mo/di shouldn't go past 36+6 and mo/mo are always delivered at 34. I have 7 month mo/di twins myself ☺️ I love being a twin mom, it's hard but so much fun. All we used at first was a pack and play and bouncers. That's all my girls needed as far as gear so even though there's two, you really don't need very much at the beginning

hopefully you can get him to help soon, currently I have 1 full day with my husband to help me since he is fixing up a new shop.... so I've been painting and mudding the walls here (I'm not pregnant so I'm able to do it all).. I totally understand not moving the big stuff to storage... talk to your hubby and see if you can set aside a Saturday or Sunday soon to get this stuff done, he will feel better about it too I'm sure.... hopefully you can get to your moms soon too, maybe do the shopping and moving stuff to storage on a Saturday and go to your moms on Sunday? make it a weekend project

@sarahdrew, I hope so. I've definitely been trying to make it a weekend project. when I comes down to the weekend my moms busy or sleeping. she works all week. goes out every Friday and wants to rest all day Saturday and she's busy Sunday. she's been doing this routine for a very very long time.

that definitely makes it hard... I'm hoping you get too soon

@boenischpartyof5, I'm having mono Di Twins. i figured I don't need to much right away. I just maily want the room organized and the newborn clothes put away. I definitely need all my breastfeeding stuff. of course their hygene stuff as well. which that's pretty easy to grab. they don't use much. I gotta get carseats. eventually a twin stroller. and I plan to get a sleeper crib next to my bed. I know if I need anything else my husband can run out and get it.

@shannaa24, we lived in a 700sqft apt when we brought our girls home so you can imagine the chaos lol now we're in a bigger place and my girls are 7mo and they're nursery is no where near done. I joke we won't have everything together until 24 hours before moving out haha. As for a stroller, we have the contours options and I can't say enough good things. I'm 5 months pregnant and can easily get it in and out of my car. It comes with 1 infant car seat adjustment so you just get the other off amazon; it also fits most car seats as well

@boenischpartyof5, we had a pretty small apartment with our first born. one bedroom but we made it work. two babies would have been hard. here we don't have enough storage space. as of right now I'm building my credit and fiance's repairing his. hope it won't take too long. I'd like to but a house early on. and I know how you feel. feels like nothing will be finished lol. but I also know everything will fall into place. cleaning will never end. that's just life of a parent :). I saw something on Amazon. the stroller is more like a Carrier and you add your two car seats to it. I think that would do good while their babies. then get something bigger. I wonder how going to the grocery store is gonna be like.

@shannaa24, we're doing the same thing. We got into a lot of debt with doctors bills so we're paying them all off with our tax return, and then putting everything in savings to hopes to get a house by the end of the year or next. I never went to the grocery store by myself until recently where they can sit up in the cart seat now. We go to Costco with my mom and their carts have 2 seats for 2 kids. It's amazing haha for regular shopping we got one of these so both can sit up; it's been a lifesaver

Here's a better pic to show how it works lol

I seen these. they pretty cool. I figured my husband and 4 year old would do grocery shopping together while I stayed home with the babies while their little. my husband probably wouldn't want us to tote all kids to the store.
