do nipple shields help with fast letdown?

Probably! I feel like it is a little inhibiting for the child of mine that uses it! You get less nipple stimulation with it for sure.

okay because my daughter won't eat on my left side BC of fast letdown so im wondering if it'll help. hopefully... @tahtahme

I definitely have a better letdown when he latches directly onto my nipple...i think because its skin to skin...when i use the shield i dont get as good of a letdown

Oh well then it might help. My letdown was very strong in the beginning and i found that if i expressed some onto a burp cloth before Hunter latched he wouldn't choke as bad
