Heat will defiantly help milk flow easier, and definitely massage! Like she said^ I massage them while pumping to help get the milk out.

I just had that happen last weekend. I cried it hurt so bad. It was a clogged milk duct. The area was sooooo hard and lumpy and red outside. Every time my milk came in, it would hurt so bad! I thought I have mastitis! If that happens, do all the massaging and apply heat (or even cold) and have the baby feed on this breast first. Mine went away after a day and a half
