yes! he doesn't need teeth for baby food, as it's all pureed! :)

@carlitojrmami, yes, it will help him start to mash his gums(chewing) to practice for when he does have teeth. I know some mommies with babies almost a year or even a year without teeth… they eat everything, more like my son who is working on his 10th tooth, its amazing lol
