Good morning ☺ hope your all keeping well x I've booked an early gender scan for Sunday ill be 16 weeks and 2 days hoping they will be able to tell us if our baba is a boy or girl 💙💗
I've also just checked when I hope to finish up work at 37 weeks. I work full time and can be out in the community a lot. When did you all finish up work? am I being to ambitious working up to 37 weeks? first time mummy to be xxx
I'm working until 37 weeks (15th of this month is last day). I work in an office so nothing too strenuous but am starting to get tired now. I'd just see how u feel closer to time
I've just stopped working this week and I'm 37 weeks :D it did get harder towards the end but I was more tired than anything! @cmck269 xx
I'm working till 36 weeks and I'm 31 weeks now it's so hard and it's my 3rd @cmck269
@cmck269, see because my holiday restarted in January I needed to take the whole of my 30 days so that's the only reason really I left fairly early! Xx
Thanks @jem29 @dani89 @quelle-y-chiffre @rach91 it wasn't until I checked how far on I would actually be that I'm now thinking might be overly ambitious. I'm also cautious that if I start maternity leave too early it's less time with baba. I've taken 3 weeks holiday before my actual due date and maternity start date but might move my maternity forward by a week or 2 xx
@cmck269, I finished work at 34 weeks, I couldn't do it anymore and was the best thing! Relaxing time before baby comes☺️☺️
@cmck269, I originally planned to work until 38 weeks as I had no problems and thought I would be fine. I ended up changing my date to 35 weeks and honestly the best decision I've ever made. It really does get so difficult towards the end. x
I'm 32+2 I'm still working full time but it's getting harder
with my first I planned 37 weeks but got admitted into hospital at 35 weeks and gave birth at 37 weeks
37 weeks is hard to be working at but obviously all depends on what type of work you do if it's very active or not I work in a care home and I'm planning on leaving at 37 again but have warned my boss that I may need to start earlier than that as I'm starting to struggle I'll probably leave at 36 weeks if I'm honest unless anything happens before
but I would say anytime after 34 weeks is normal to start your maternity leave
just remember that the more time you have off before baby is born the less time you have with baby xxx @cmck269
that was my initial plan but had to bring it forward and finish now as my hips are really painful and my belly is getting huge so glad I have cuz its hard to move and get tired easily xx
