I'm getting induced next thursday March 10th. they say they will start me off with cervidil to soften up the cervixs. has anyone been induced using this how did you feel? what was the outcome?
they tried cervidil with my daughter. its suppose to stay in for 8 hours but 3 hours i was in active labor and had to get sn emergency c section
I was induced this way at first. They should explain to you that some women's bodies over react to this cervadil. If you're one of those people like I am they will take it out because when you over react it basically outs you into hard labor instantly..And then put you on a iv drip to stop the contractions. And then put you on a second drip to put you into labor just much slower.. Over all I loved being induced and I will be induced with every baby I ever have because my doctor has given me that option. If your body over reacts just take a deep breath and remember to relax that you're in good hands and they know what they're doing. 😊

Is this the one yall drink to induce??? I'm desperate
My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own? I don't want to be induced, i would much rather her come on her ...
It's my turn ladies!
Finally, after nearly FORTY-TWO weeks... I decided to get induced. Baby Violet scared me with some decreased fetal movement and I couldn't wait any longer.

Before u become pregnant think of this
Do I want to be uncomfortable as hell for 40-42 weeks?
Do I want to be in horrible pain for up to 14-16 hours even longer

Please help!
My doctor is trying to induce me before 40 weeks because she's going to be off on my due date and says my placenta is starting to look old. How do I get labor started?? I don't want to be induced for no reason and I'm thinking I won't have a choice. Please help. What do I do to get things going?
I'm scared/nervous about being induced, good luck though.💫💕
