I've always had irregular periods, so when I went 3, 4 months without a period, I didn't think anything of it. I had morning sickness (I didn't know that it was morning sickness), but I still didn't think anything of it. I FINALLY went and took a test and I was pregnant. I found out I was pregnant at 22 weeks. I'm now 25 weeks... I feel like I haven't had enough time to process what my body has, and is going through. I heard my babys heart beat for the first time today and I didn't really get emotional and I feel like a horrible person because I didn't cry or get emotional... my mom did and so did my sister and my sister is 13! I love my baby. Every kick and every move is indescribable. But hearing the baby's beating heart, honestly freaked me out. It hit me that I am growing a new human that is going to depend on me for everything in his/or her life. I only have less than 4 months left to prepare for a baby. It freaks me out....
Sorry for the long rant about me... I haven't told anyone how I feel and I had to get it out.
@chelesti9, You're welcome. you'll be on a rollercoaster of hormones so message me anytime. BTW congratulations on your baby! 😊😊
Thank you sooo much @bakingbabylovett!! I feel better knowing I'm not alone. And that someone understands my crazy hormonal emotions. So thank you.
@chelesti9, We have similar stories, husband and I used no protection for 10ys and suddenly become pregnant, I know every feeling you're going through, I know hearing it's okay to be okay and to smile, to enjoy the rest of your pregnancy doesn't really work, well because YOUR the one going through those emotions, believe me 100% understand. I'm here for you. What helped me was writing in my journal, my thoughts, my worries, my stresses, every negative thing I thought I wrote it down, even the positives. You feel like no one really understands but you're not alone. Message me whenever! You don't know me personally, but know we have similar stories & I honestly want you to know it's okay to feel this way, you'll soon get passed it.
@bakingbabylovett, I was actually told I couldn't have kids when I was 13, so I grew up thinking I couldnt. My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex basically our entire relationship (4 years) and then all a sudden I'm pregnant. It hasn't hit me yet and I'm scared it won't hit me until the baby is here and by then I won't have enough time.
@showersoverflowers I'm just freaking out cause I'm more than half way there and I'm not emotionally prepared to have a new human depend on me.
You are not the first and you will not be the last this happens with hun. Keep a smile on your face. great things take time
Thank you @sarahb518 and @misserinc I appreciate the kind words more than you know.
You're not alone, I was told I couldn't have kids at 17, so I went through those emotions and pretty much accepted we would never get pregnant or have my own baby. When I found out I was 10 weeks, not that far along but I have no emotional attachment over it, everyone was excited when I didn't really care, even seeing and hearing the heartbeat I still wouldn't accept it. I felt so bad, but now I'm excited and really to meet our son. I know you were farther along but I felt those same emotions. You're going to be okay, I promise! It'll hit you and once it does you'll forget about those negative feelings. We're all here for you.
Totally agree with @misserinc Usually you find out you're preggo and then have a couple weeks to process what is going on before the first dr appt and even then, depending on how far along you may not even get to hear the heartbeat at the first appointment. I didn't hear my baby's heartbeat this time around until 16 weeks bc she was moving so much at my first 2 appointments. Give yourself some time to mentally and emotionally process and adjust to the big change you are experiencing.
It doesn't always happen at once, give it some time mama
Welp if it makes y’all feel better , I was hoping my own baby didn’t come out ugly because my baby daddy be looking ugly to me sometimes .
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Is anyone else really scared or freaked out about labor? Idk what's more scary. The pain or my bf and my mom seeing me spread eagle with a baby coming out of me. I worry about it all the time and the closer it gets the more anxiety I feel about the whole thing
So i am an single mom and I be so emotional after i had my baby. Like people keep telling me to put my child father on child support but his family told me they won’t nothing to do with my daughter and i just been so emotional because i feel like it’s getting hard to do everything alone but i know this assistance will help out a lot but i just know how much i gotta deal with
Motherhood ripped from me again...
I went for my Anatomy Scan on Friday @ 20wks. I went in expecting to find out if my baby is a boy or girl, but came out feeling like I'm going to die.
@bakingbabylovett, thank you! And congratulations to you too!
