My advice is don't be too down on yourself if it doesn't work out. If it doesn't, you're not a failure. Especially if you tried your hardest. Fed is best. Good luck!

Try pumping it increases your breast milk and if he doesn't want to latch you can always feed him your breastmilk instead of formula 😊

I'm actually quite new to BF as this is my second child but my first BF anyway were 2 months strong now. I just want to say there will be days you just wanna give up cause your nips hurt or baby is cluster feeding and doesn't want nothing but the boob and you can't take a shower or clean house etc. but please hang in there!! I was so determined to BF and I almost gave in cause I was hurting and was just so tired! I was so worried bout getting the house clean or whatever. But now I'm glad i didn't give in as were two months in now and instead of feeling like its a job it's a pleasure to me! I know when he hits his growth spurts all hell wanna do is eat and that's fine with me. Hang in there momma! Baby deserves it! Also my baby got his shots today and I figured he'd wanna just nurse all day but nope he's only nursed twice today!! And I'm so upset! Lol but I'm sure he'll be making up for it tomorrow! Lol but the bond I have with him is amazing and I feel a lot of it is from BF! It was rough for me in the beginning cause he wouldn't latch so I had to start pumping and I HATE pumping. But like I said I was willing to do anything. We had to start out with a nipple shield and he finally would latch onto that but when we got home I kept working with him to latch to my breast and he finally did at two weeks and he's been eating from the breast since. I still pump maybe twice a day just to build a freezer stash but they recommend not pumping until after 6 weeks. 6 weeks is when your supply will start to regulate and if u pump before then you can cause an over supply which could lead to clogged ducts, mastitis, and thrush.
