is it wrong that I don't want anyone but me and my husband at the hospital when I give birth? it's nothing against anyone in my family I just don't want people in the room all the time. I know with my sister in law between her family and mine someone was in the room until the hospital closed visiting hours. I don't want that and I want that time to bond with my baby and with it being mine and his first I want us to experience it together and learn on our own how it is to be new parents

I was that way, too. My SO was the only one there for the birth. We did have visitors but they never stayed long.

our 4th and final baby that's what we are doing. the first whole day just the hubs baby and i. the next day scheduled visits at set times. the nurses are great and have it all written down.

I'm the same way i know ill offended some in doing so but I've requested to be put on the no info list. Meaning unless my self or my husband bring them in they won't even know im there. I love them but I want time to spend just us before all the chaos of family.
