How often are you supposed to get ultrasounds? I had one at 7 weeks and couldn't hear a heartbeat just saw one. I am now 11 weeks and they still say they can't hear the heartbeat until I get another ultrasound but they're not letting me have one until I find out the gender which is in April.
Only one without an ultrasound?! Am I the only one who doesn't have (or get) an ultrasound until after 20 weeks?! I only get 1 ultrasound between 20-24 weeks (unless I start having issues).
Hi I am into my 15 week now But since last two days am not having good feeling....I just feel something is wrong inside wid d kid...all my symptoms r too less Morning sickness is gone....Metallic taste of my tounge is also less....and I feel pain in my abdoman twice or thrice which is very minor though What should i do i am very confused Already have gone through 5 scans because of changing gynec Just feel that untill i hear the heartbeat or see my kid i wont b ok....got sleepless nights
So I was talking to someone and they said I may not get a first ultrasound until 20 weeks?! what the hell? Is that some new thing that's changed? a lot of girls I've talked to got ultrasounds done around 8-9 to hear the heartbeat:/
Ultrasound So I Had My First Ultrasound At 6 Weeks Heard Baby's Heart Beat And Everything Was Ok.... Doc Said I Wouldn't Have Another Ultrasound Until I'm 20 Weeks I Feel Like That's Too Long. When Did You Get Your Second Ultrasound?
At my 7 week 2 day appointment !! Hoping baby is alright and I get to hear heartbeat!! I'll post ultrasound pictures and update afterwards!!

they said they could only pick it up with ultrasound :( I guess I'm just over paranoid this is my first so of course I'm jumpy at every little thing

i had like 7 in the first trimester but I was high risk at the time, sounds normal but they can listen to the heart beat Via doppler

My doctor only gave me two. My first appointment at 8 weeks and an anatomy scan at 20.

They only see me every like 6 weeks. its not very often and they usually don't do anything the last time they checked my breast and that was it.
