Hey all you beautiful ladies out there. I just wanted to update everyone since I've been MIA for a bit. Early Friday morning I had posted a TMI picture because I wasn't sure if it was mucus plug or water..ended up being mucus plug...I went to L&D & was having contractions every 5 minutes, but they weren't getting too strong or closer together & I was still 1cm which I had been since 36 weeks...I was 39 weeks 3 days (today my due date) so the doctor decided to put me on patois to get the contractions closer & stronger hoping I'd dilate which I never did...so after 9 hours of no progress he comes & takes me off the patois at about 4pm & scheduled my c-section for 6pm (contractions never stopped so it was rough) 6:18pm Friday night my beautiful baby girl was born. 7 pounds 14 ounces & 20 inches long...2 days in the hospital & we got to come home...1st few days beyond rough because of pain, but luckily she's a good baby & I have an amazing husband doing things I'd never think he'd do for me...shower me, change my nasty from the c-section & so much more. Today I'm sore, but doing better...able to cut my pain meds in half.
