So contractions are about 5-6 minutes apart but only last around 38-40 seconds, what does that mean? When should I go in? I've been having them sense about 10 this morning and they have gradually gotten stronger and more painful and closer together.

My last apt was yesterday and I was barely dilated so she tried to stick her finger in my cervix and was rough about it to try to start labor and this morning I lost my mucus plug and then the contractions started @whitneym

I personally would go in. But they do say wait until they're 3 minutes apart and too painful to walk through. You may be in the early stages of labor. Were you dilated at your last Drs apt?

@paisleesmommy, I'd go in if they're 5-6 mins apart and lasting that long
