Epidural is a life saver! Seriously it is pain less, especially after you've been contracting for hours. I felt nothing except pressure when I had to push and it was so easy! I was way too worried about nothing since I am a FTM, don't worry you'll do great! Also, my doctor had a mirror set up about half way through pushing I got to see everything! Most amazing thing ever, I'd definitely suggest asking about it.

no getting blood taken hurts way more lol.. epis kinds tickle.. most of the anxiety was in my head...
