I am so mad I just got pulled over and got a $290 ticket for having a headlight out... and the court date is in 5 days. I only work part time cause that's all my doctor will allow since I'm a high risk pregnancy, I don't even have $5 to my name..all my bills are overdue... . and have absolutely NO way of paying basically $ 300... I'm so upset... :(

Definitely fight the ticket... Use your pregnancy to your advantage. If they still want you to pay for the ticket tell the judge what you just told us and ask for a payment plan.
Wow that seems like a harsh penalty for a burnt out headlight--in WI you just get a 15 day. If it's not fixed in 15 days you get a ticket.
That's happened to my fiancé and I before . Go to court and tell them that your pregnant and was on your way to get the headlight fixed , and didn't know where to go . Buy the bulb (they are usually cheap) and have someone put it in for you . That's a hefty ticket for nothing !!!! @jessika0610
that is horrible. I can't believe it's 300 dollars. in new york they give you 24 hours to fix it and you don't have to pay anything just send proof that you fixed it. I would fight it. that is crazy.
Go to court and fight it. Say that you felt the cop was personally attacking you when he could have given you a fix it ticket. See if a friend can replace the bulb and go to court saying you already fixed it.... There has to be a loop hole that can get you out of paying all that JUST for a burnt headlight

Good morning ladies. Sorry I been ignoring yall but I have been so miserable the past days I'M STILL PREGNANT my contractions would be strong for hours and it looked like I was gonna have a baby then everything just stopped so I got sent home. they said I have to wait till my appointment Wednesday so I can talk to my doctor about the next step. I HATE THIS 😢😢😩

so I'm a mom of a 26 weeker and he's 2 and my boyfriend has a 2 year old as well and we both want a baby but wonder if we should wait because of all of my health issues I had with my son before he and I got together? please no bashing or judging just asking. fair warning my doctors are all on with it too I just have to have my iud removed.
I asked the officer if I could get it fixed and if they'd drop it. or reduce it and he said no because I have a previous ticket.. :(
