Just a tip to all mommies who plan on trying to give birth vaginally:
Do toe touches every day.
Stretching as if your trying to touch your toes can be extremely helpful when they put you in those stirrups and crunch you up all tight lol
If you get your body used to that position even while pregnant, it will Def help in the delivery room.
I didn't do them and was so tired between pushes and couldn't even catch my breath because I was still crunched up in a way I wasn't used to.
Hopefully that made sense.

I won't use stirrups, my birth plan specifically states using people to help in birth. 😂😂😂 @chhaya

I started out in stirrups ans my boyfriend and a nurse ended up holding my legs but it was still very uncomfortable being squished like that.
& I delivered vaginally with an epidural that didn't work. I know you're going to be out of breath no matter what but heck if it even helps a smidge I'm going to tell other mommas lol @ilyric @ashalay88 @andiryan93

@andiryan93, it's a more natural positioning and it's awesome!😊 Women could probably opt out on the stirrups too! Worth a try!

I didn't have to use stirrups! My midwife said "hold your legs!". It was way more comfortable than trying to maneuver my body into an uncomfortable position!

You're going to be out of breath either way because you're using everything you have to deliver the baby. This coming from a mom whose delivered vaginally 3 times.
