38 week check.. She checked for dilation and I'm 50% effaced. I've had brownish discharge since I came home.. Is this normal. Now tonight I had a larger brown chunk come out possibly mucus plug? I'm freaking myself out...

They said it's normal to experience some spotting after getting your cervix checked. And the brown discharge is probably your mucous plug
well if u got checked already and they said it was normal then OK I've never experienced that before

No cramping I called my dr this afternoon when I first noticed it and they said it was normal after getting my cervix checked and to call back if I notice bright red blood which I haven't. I had a similar piece very small come out 3 days ago too.
That is mostly likely your mucus plug
