Can't believe my not so little monkey turns 2 on Saturday.right in the middle of a damn heatwave & a newly moved into house.
How do you even plan a small party at 38weeks pregnant, boxes to unpack, unbearable heat and having to invite all of his dad's family which always works out expensive ( one brother has 6 boys alone).
Welp. I'll just sit here and sulk.

Afternoon or twilight party at local pool or park? Keep the food simple and give out ice blocks instead of cake. Invite family to a byo sausage sizzle at one of those venues and just supply the cake? (Cupcakes can be a better option when outdoors). Just a few thoughts. 😊

Thanks for the suggestions- tried to have a late afternoon one and his family flipped it because they want to take their mum out for dinner that night. It wouldn't be so bad if certain members actually made the effort to appreciate what we put out.
