I'm going into my 26th wk & so far I've only seen a nurse practitioner. Is this normal? With my first baby I saw my same Dr every time. I'm really nervous that I haven't seen a Dr & since I'm so worried about it my husband is considering switching health insurance so that I can go back to my old Dr.
idk if this is a legit concern or if I'm just being weird and picky. \:

Trigger. Lost baby Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
okay I don't want to be that 'asshole' but umm ... my Dr hasn't seen me in 2weeks every time I have an app I see another Dr , they don't weigh my baby , no ultrasound I just get my blood pressure taken , give them a urine sample , they measure my tummy and listen to her heart beat ... I'm 32 weeks ... haven't seen my child since I was 25weeks ...
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
I'm looking through my photos and I found one of my SO and I. I'm now thinking about how obsessed with him I am. I wanna see you and your man! Go! 😊

Hmm that's weird, I haven't ever not seen my doctor. Nor would I be ok with not seeing my doctor.. Not even once. Although I have only gone in for my monthly and now bi weekly appts. Not anything in between.

yeah i have never not seen my doctor unless it was for an ultra sound.

That's definitely not normal... I only saw the nurse for my first visit to get health history. Every single time after that, I've seen my same doctor. I'd switch if I were you. If you wait too long, it's hard to find a doctor mid-pregnancy because of liability reasons.

I would be concerned too. I would request my next appt be with the dr
