some pics I see on fb makes me sad because of what happened to caleb after birth...I didn't get to do bonding or anything :( he was taken and flown right after birth to another hospital in another state so I couldn't even hold him :/ I shouldn't be upset because he's doing good, but I can't help it...does this make me a bad person? :(
@frozenessence, awe..did you know he had heart defects while pregnant?
@kenzie15, yes!!! it makes me tear up...he was born 36 weeks with heart defects. I saw him the next day before he was flown out...I just wanted to hold him and kiss him once :( I dealt with ppd after his birth and idk if that's why?
Not at all. I didn't get to bond with my daughter either. She was born early at around 33 weeks. They showed me a glimpse of her after I pushed her out and took her right to the NICU. I still get emotional about it when I see stuff on facebook of folks bonding with their baby after birth.
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Birth Plan Rant
I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?
Another post got me thinking... Do you think your child's name is unique?!
By unique I mean shared by almost no-one else
One thing I refuse to do is share a room after I give birth ... Being in a room with another mom and her baby after I just gave birth ? Hell no ! I want my privacy! I will tour every hospital out here if I have to 🤔
I understand! My daughter born at 27 weeks and I got a glimpse of her as well before she was taken to another hospital. It was real hard but I was able to call and check on her. Then I was released to the hospital where she was. When I got to see her all I could do was cry.
