When anyone got the whooping cough shot did your arm turn hard where you got it and did it start itching within a couple days?

the redness is also normal. it'll be like that for a few days to a week after injection. I had a dead arm for a week lol

Yes because it's an intramuscular injection which means it goes directly into your muscle. the itching is probably just from the injection site healing. as long as you're not breaking out in a rash or the area doesn't look infected, you should be fine.
