I needed this! I already have my names picked out and I know my mother in law will hate them and try to change my mind when I tell her. My mom always tells me it's my choice not hers lol

@desilu, I had my first very young, at 14, and really wanted to name him Julian but my ex-mother-in-law (so glad she's not my mil anymore) didn't let me, it sucks so bad I lived with her and she made me feel like she was his mom not me, I am glad I am in a different state now. my current mil didn't really like my 2nd sons name but she said that's your son lol BTW we named him Carlos

I mean she doesn't control me she just is opinionated lol, but she's like my bestfriend!!! Our names are Amethyst Emerald for a girl and Vladimir Edgar Salem For a boy.
