Good Morning Ladies 😊🌼🌞 QUESTION: I'm going to make my first OB appointment tomorrow, BUT how soon do they usually do an ultrasound?? Should I make it for a couple weeks out so I'll be further along?? Any advice is appreciated, TIA. ~Sami ♡

Depends on how your dr office does things. Most don't see you until around 8-10 weeks and usually the first visit is just blood work and a million questions then they schedule the ultrasound

All offices we different, like my OB won't do an ultrasound until you are at least 8 weeks. And most offices will also ask you when you are making the appt when your last missed period was and schedule you around your 8 week mark😊 Congrats! @babiluv3

I called when I was 5 weeks to make an appt. they scheduled my first appt for 9 weeks for the ultrasound!

It's all different, I didn't go in for my first until 8 weeks but they didn't do an ultrasound until 12 but my best friend went in at 6 and they did an ultrasound. It depends on the doc and insurance (mine is tricare so they do things wayyyy different than civilian docs/insurance)
