My therapist wanted to admit me into a mental hospital. I don't have anyone to watch my newborn tho…

I have a disorder as well. I stopped therapy 4 months ago because I couldn't afford it anymore. If you ever need someone to talk to you can always message me.

Thanks @embersandash I have been seeing a therapist on a weekly basis for 2 1/2 years as well as a psychiatrist through the county. Once I went to all those mental hospitals I was court ordered to attend therapy and be medicated. I've been dealing with mental illness since I was 15, I'm now 39. It's been a struggle and I've been through hell and back. Maybe u can find help thru social services in ur area?

@sktraum, the psych I had was amazing. I wouldn't want to see anyone else. Saw him every week for almost 3 years. For the most part I think I'm doing OK. It's only sometimes when it really gets to me. I do worry about the future with my baby though. How will she react when she learns about it and stuff like that

I don't know if it's the same in California and I know it's not ideal, but in AZ you can sign a 90 Day Voluntary agreement with CPS for the time period you are in the hospital. It gives you the time to heal knowing your child is cared for.
