@mimiz, bronchitis. for 3 damn weeks. it hasn't let up. I lost my voice 2 weeks ago and still haven't gotten it back, I'm coughing so much.

they should give you the antibiotics for that. there is no reason you can't take the antibiotics

try a probiotic. they shouldn't give you meds. they're doing the right thing.

@happilymarriedmommaoffour, I know. I've been asking and asking but they keep saying there's nothing they can give me. bullshit there isn't. I'm miserable. I'd like to have my voice back and I would love to be able to sleep without coughing every 5 seconds.

have you made a trip to the emergency or after hours care? they should give you the antibiotics. I got antibiotics when I had it with my first. @mamamoon the antibiotics won't affect the baby. they're not doing the right thing by keeping her sick. it could get so bad she'd be hospitalized which isn't good

@mamamoon, I would rather risk an antibiotic then my red blood cell count dropping and hospitalizing me.

I'm trying to give you safe and natural options. you're going to do what you wish but antibiotics kill everything in your body. they make it harder to fight off sickness in the future. probiotics will help balance everything and get you back to normal. risk what youd like. there's a reason why they won't give them to you. they shouldn't even when you aren't pregnant.

@happilymarriedmommaoffour, I have a blood disorder and if my count drops while sick, it will put me in the hospital. I've been to the er twice and seen the same doctor...still nothing. I begged my ob 2 weeks ago because I could barely breathe at the office. I don't have a family doctor right now. I'm just aggravated with it all.

I learned when I had bronchitis last time, it's a virus. Antibiotics doesn't really do anything for it. It would only help if you had the bacterial bronchitis.

Maybe there's a reason why they aren't giving it to you. Ask if you want it.

Antibiotics might not help for it but they should at least give you breathing treatments and prescribe a safe inhaler.
