Drew is 4 months. What things can we give him now? Can we give him fruit to taste? Like banana?

They have stage 1 baby foods that you can give him.

no solid foods until 6 months.

@crunchymomma we've actually given him bananas before when he turned 3 months. Doctor said it was fine. but we stopped after awhile

@marfie15 i know someone made me a baby food diaper cake but its stage 2😣 the doctor let us give it to him anyway he liked it

we have our 2 year old mashed avocado as her first food when she was 6 months

I was just letting you know what the American Academy of Pediatrics states. doctors are not supposed to allow solid foods before 6 months but a lot of them aren't up to date and give wrong info

@crunchymomma true but its more of just tasting it. not eating it since they spit most of it out

My son started "solids" at 4 months. He loved sweet potatoes & spinach. Just go w your baby & wait a week before trying new things

@spuermommy what was wrong?

@spuermommy my son was perfectly fine. i stopped the bananas because it made him constipated but other than that he was fine. Every baby is different.
