I've seen so many women on here who aren't as far along as me talking about their breastfeeding leaking, I'm almost 30 weeks and mine haven't leaked at all yet! Is that normal? Have any other women been like that, your breast not leak, and you still been able to breastfeed?
I never leaked with my son unless I made it come out an I had a wonderful milk supply this pregnancy I haven't leaked either but I can get stuff out of them. When I had my son my milk came in 3 days later like a faucet. You will be able to breastfeed just fine!
37 weeks tomorrow and I've only seen a drop of colostrum after a hot shower
Right, I just was curious of other women's experiences or thoughts because I had a friend of mine who never leaked and my mom said she never leaked and neither one were able to breastfeed, their milk never came in. And since I plan on trying to breastfeed at least in the beginning that worries me a bit
not everyone leaks, I did with my son but not my daughter... and it's not actually the milk as the other ladies have said, it's colostrum milk doesn't come in until after delivery
I'm 31 weeks (at midnight) and my boobs don't leak but if I go and squeeze my nipple some colostrum comes out. A lot of women don't leak at all and still breastfeed perfectly.
It's also not milk like they said, just colostrum. That's the breasts way of preparing to breastfeed
I'm 31 weeks and still haven't leaked. Leaking breasts or not, it doesn't change a woman's ability to breast feed😊 so it's all good if we miss out on that one
its actually not breast milk, you dont get milk til 3 days after delivery unless you get it to produce quicker. I cant remember the name of the liquid that comes before it but ask your doctor.
I didn't leak, had my baby girl at 36 weeks and were two months into breastfeeding. :)
