ask your doctor to write a prescription for one and they should be able to point you in the right direction from there. beware, most insurances will only provide 1 per lifetime so if you have had one before be wary

start out by calling your insurance and asking what they cover for breast pumps under your plan. they should be able to give you a really quick and easy answer. I called mine and they told me how much they covered for manual pumps, electric pumps, and for renting hospital grade pumps. they told me how often I can get a replacement covered, and who I would need to contact to order one. all in under 5 minutes.
