Right I understand completely! I was definitely more careful after that. No diseases, no more babies until I married my husband (5 years married now) .

@liveitwithlove, I was raised that if you had that many sexual partners you were...many things and i unlike many dont believe in divorce at all i believe you make your bed your lay in it so to speak but i was asking because the abortions that friends had changed them to make them better and they certainly thought sexual encounters thru.

I would do it again if medically necessary, but I'm in a place now where I wouldn't have to make that decision. It didn't stop me from having sex though if that's what you mean! I've had 20+ sexual partners. The abortion happened during a time that I thought I was going to be with that person forever.

@maybabyboy, yeah well they are usually the ones who have a problem with birth controls. I just feel that beyond way to many and feel since a lesson couldn't be learned after 8+ times the options should be last kid get fixed or have it...some lessons have to learned the hard way and after 2i feel its pure murder...might as well mark yourself in the book of serial killers. if you really get pregnant that much..then I'd say you shouldn't have sex till you are truly ready,because thinking you are and actually being prepared for it...are different.

@liveitwithlove, well did it make you this k more on the choices you made sexually afterwards...was there a lesson involved.. I ask because a few I know say they learned a lot and would never do it again,they also avoided one night stands and didn't get pregnant until they were ready for sure..

@mrs.n.mr.awesome, I can agree with that, I think there should be a limit on how many you can have before they require an iud or something at the least.

@maybabyboy, to an extent it would be pro choice but I know women who have had over 8 abortions each and for that I feel they should have gotten they tubes tied...because to me that's careless and murder.

Many people are pro-life but not pro-baby being fed, clothed, sheltered... I had an abortion and already had a kid at the time. Was just the best choice for me. I don't regret it.

That is the basis of pro choice, you may or may not do it yourself, but leaving the choice for other women to make for themselves is the whole point.
