Did anyone make their close family get tdap shots before being around baby?

yes! that's for sure a rule I have!

My doctor said anyone in the household should get it. my husband and my dad will definitely get one because they both smoke and cough a lot. I just got mine last Wednesday

the hospital im delivering at wont let you in the birthing wing without having your Tdap. i want my SO to get it. but other than that..if your not feeling well dont come around til you feel better

just the people that were gonna be around everyday my oldest son was up to date & I had my bf get one

I just got it a couple days ago, I'm 27 weeks. But even though it's best to get it 4 weeks or more before, they can give it to you until 2 weeks before the due date. Problem is they don't know if the baby will come early so I would call and ask about it!

I asked my mom and dad to and they did it without hesitation.

it's crazy the shot is 75$ a person.

I'm just so scared :/ @theinkedbarbie when does the doctor normally give it? I'm 31 weeks and no one has even mentioned it yet.

@theinkedbarbie I'm not sure what to do. my mom lives with my husband and i, she doesn't have insurance and we don't have the money to pay for it. it's like 75. same for my husband. I'm the only one with insurance, and that's medicaid.
